Event Management

For Avram Events Inc., the design and management of an event to meet your business or organizational objectives is considered an art form. From imaginative and memorable corporate dinners to distinctive and dynamic special events, our exceptional skills in design, management and production keep us at the top of the industry.

Events create real emotional and physical experiences.
They provide a way of engaging an audience, achieving business objectives and generating revenue. Events continue to be the number one method of making an impact.

I’m known for Game-Changing Strategies

I’ve been involved in the widest range of event design and management projects you can imagine. I was the Festival Coordinator for the incredibly successful 1995 Huddle Up in Saskatchewan Grey Cup where the Festival concept became entrenched into the Grey Cup agenda. (During my tenure as Festival Manager for Grey Cup ’95, I became known as “ice” for my calm and unflappable demeanour, carefully assisting volunteers in navigating the Grey Cup labyrinth).

I conceptualized and launched the most successful concert series in the history of the Regina Symphony Orchestra by spearheading the Mozart at Mission Ridge Concert series. Mozart at Mission Ridge delivered the largest audience in the entire history of the RSO when the orchestra performed for a crowd of over 7000 people in year three. This massive shift in the public’s attitude towards classical music catapulted the RSO into an era of success that would continue for the next 20 years.

Then Globe Theatre came calling and I was on board as the public relations consultant for the development and delivery of Lanterns on the Lake. This was a multi-stakeholder, big 3 arts-driven festival combining symphonic music, dance, theatre and artmaking into one giant, interactive public spectacle. Lanterns on the Lake drew an unthinkable 10,000 people to Wascana Park on a warm summer day and evening, smashing all expectations.

Later on, as manager of the International Business Centre program for Canadian Western Agribition, my tenure in this role was so transformative that it caused the General Manager at the time to state that, “In all instances, the level of service delivered by Jennie Avram was in the best traditions of Agribition and to a standard that has been unsurpassed in the 35-year history of our show.”

From Station Events to Avram Events to Parachute Communications, to Avram Communications, Jennie has successfully managed and grown her various companies into what is now Avram Communications, one of the most experienced and highly respected boutique firms in Regina.
